I was inspired to create this painting after reading "A New Earth." Though I don't subscribe to the entirety of the Eckhart Tolle philosophy, I do recognize truth when I see it. The only time that matters is now. The act of painting is one way I honor the moment and none of my works exemplify this more than "When."
